About North & East Breckenridge

The north and east side of Breckenridge sits at 9,600 feet in the Colorado Rockies, close to downtown and well-connected to everything the town has to offer. These established neighborhoods have a quieter, more residential feel compared to the ski-in/ski-out corridors on the resort's western base areas, while staying within easy reach of Main Street's restaurants, shops, and galleries. The Blue River Rec Path runs directly through the area, providing a paved multi-use corridor for walking, running, and cycling. In winter, the free Summit Stage bus connects North and East Breckenridge residents to Breckenridge Ski Resort's base areas and all other Summit County towns year-round.

Breckenridge Ski Resort's five peaks and more than 187 trails are accessible via the Summit Stage throughout ski season. In summer, the broader area offers access to mountain biking and hiking on the Tenmile Range and Blue River fishing.

Property Types

North and East Breckenridge offers one of the broadest ranges of property types in the area. Single-family homes range from modest mountain cabins to more spacious contemporary residences, with full lot ownership and yard space. Condominiums and townhomes offer lower-maintenance ownership with HOA services covering snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep — popular with second-home buyers and part-time residents.
